For the whole of the summer of 2010 Waspgo.co.uk will be removing wasps nests throughout Lancashire, Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire for a fixed rate of just thirty-two pounds (£44.50 in postcode areas (L, CH & CW).
We operate 7 days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge an extra for evening and weekend work.
Wasps nests can usually be destroyed from the exterior of the premises by injecting a small quantity of insecticide into the entrance hole using a special device.
It is necessary to get a wasps’ nest destroyed before September when the new queens which will make next year’s nests start to be born. Once this happens just destoying the nest will not kill these queens as they are no longer returning to the nest. A single nest can release about 2000 queens.
During the wasps nest season we give priority to wasp calls as we know that many people can react to wasps stings and it is important to destroy the nest as soon as it is discovered. We do our best to provide a rapid same day service but this is obviously ruled by how much work we have on.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it cannot be used again and, being built from purely of wasp paper will crumble away by itself.
