For the whole of the summer months The Waspman will be destroying wasps nests throughout Trafford and Manchester for a set of just thirty-two pounds (44.50 for postcodes (CH, CW & L).
The Waspman are available seven days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge any more for evening and weekend call outs.
Wasps nests can normally be destroyed from the outside of the building by blowing a small amount of wasp powder into the entrance hole using a special device.
It is vital to have a wasps’ nest destroyed before mid-september when the new queens which will construct next season’s nests start to be produced. Once this commences just destoying the nest will not kill these wasp queens as they are no longer using the nest. A single nest can produce about 2000 queens.
For the whole of the summer we give priority to wasp calls as we are aware that many people suffer badly from wasps stings and it is vital to deal with the nest as with the utmost urgency. We do our utmost to provide a same day service but this is clearly ruled by how busy we are.
It is not necessary to remove the wasp nest itself as it can never be used again and, being built from purely of paper it will eventually crumble away by itself.
